Christmas 2013 Savings Challenge Week 20
Only 217 more days until Christmas 2013!
Last year during the 2012 Christmas Savings Challenge I used Swagbucks to earn gift cards to buy Christmas presents. Altogether I earned $135 in Amazon gift cards from Swagbucks. This year I decided to up the ante AND use two of my favorite online money earning programs to reach my goal of a whopping $300 worth of gift cards and money.
If you're not familiar with my Christmas Savings Challenge I'll be posting every Tuesday about how much I've earned through two online programs: Swagbucks and Treasure Trooper. Everything I earn will be traded for cash and gift cards to purchase Christmas presents. My goal is to pay nothing out of pocket for my 2013 Christmas presents!

Update: I still haven't concentrated at all on earning with Treasure Trooper. I need to get into the routine to take their daily surveys that pay between $0.50-$1.

If you haven't made the before, they are really handy. I created a book of just pictures of when my son was born. It's a nice keepsake to flip through. Walgreens Photo makes it easy and has an auto-fill so you don't even have to take the time to add each picture individually.

Ibotta - Earn up to a $4 Bonus in May!
If you aren't familiar with Ibotta it's a phone app that pays you for shopping! Here's how it works:
After you make your in-store purchases, you’ll just need to upload your receipt via the Ibotta app. Ibotta will then verify your purchases and determine whether credit should be added to your account within 24 hours. In many cases, you will receive word from Ibotta in under 1 hour. It is super simple to upload your photo and money was added to my account within an hour. Very cool!
Once you’ve reached at least $5 in earnings, Ibotta lets you transfer your earnings directly to your PayPal account. Choose Withdraw Cash from the main menu of the app, then select Get My Cash to link Ibotta to your PayPal account. How easy is that?!
